If you as a teacher match your own expectations for the individual module, the individual learning process with time for repetitions is not challenged by the teacher’s patience. Many teachers are affected by the fact that they plan with an overly strict learning plan for the individual modules for each course. When you do that, you’re easily challenged by your patience.  It is quickly felt by students and especially by insecure older students with low expectations of their own learning potential if the teacher shows signs of impatience. 

If you as a student experience and feel that you do not live up to the teacher’s expectations, it creates uncertainty and stress. Stress affects everyone’s cognitive functions. Both young people and the elderly

It is important that you as a teacher are aware that no student learns faster from the fact that they can feel that the teacher is getting impatient.

If you as a teacher can feel you are getting impatient, it is because the teacher has formulated for ambitious learning goals, for the time available, with learning profiles represented in the student group and the learning readiness the student group represents.  The teacher does not get impatient because the students are unin gifted or older.
